I can't believe it's nearly the middle of November and it just doesn't feel like Christmas time! It's in part to the mild weather we've had here in West Michigan, so I can't complain. Since opening the store, I'll have to admit I lose track of days and still think it's October! Time flies when you're having fun! This upcoming weekend Rockford is hosting it's annual Holiday Open Houses. Participating shops have extended hours in the evenings, along with discounts, treats and maybe a giveaway. Figured now is as a good of a time as any to start this! Well, I decided to open a small retail store in the heart of picturesque Rockford, MI. I've never done this before, but I thought hey I can do this. I've read some articles about things they never tell you...like everyone will think you're rich (hah!). I think the biggest one is you realize how strong you are (or maybe not so much sometimes!).
